LED boards and LED modules are two different lighting solutions, each with their own unique advantages. LED modules typically contain 1 to 4 LEDs or lenses, while LED boards offer larger configurations such as 6, 12 LEDs and more. Due to their elongated design, LED boards allow for a much faster installation, while maintaining similar light performance such as brightness and power. Like modules, LED boards can be used for both backlighting and edge lighting, providing versatility in lighting applications.
The Planar family is a series of LED boards dedicated to backlighting. It includes models such as Planar Board, Planar Ceiling and Planar Net. These boards are available in different colour temperatures, from 3000K to 10000K, as well as dynamic versions such as CCT and RGB. Their applications include the illumination of fabrics, ceilings and advertisements, guaranteeing even and effective lighting.
The Elypso family of LED boards, on the other hand, are edge-lit solutions. These include the Elypso Board 22W, Elypso Board 32W and Elypso Uni Board. These products are only available in single-colour versions, making them ideal for applications requiring precise and uniform edge illumination.
Both families of LED boards – Planar and Elypso – are characterised by their high performance and ease of installation. Planar is ideal for backlighting solutions, while Elypso provides precise edge lighting, making it an integral part of modern lighting systems.
